The tool Mirroring in 3Shape Smile Composer® feature is expanded with the functionality Morph to additional, that caters for morphing of design to any additional scan.

More flexibility with additional scans
It is now possible to merge all selected models into one and save the combined design for future use. Any changes made are saved in the extended scan.

Direct access to tutorials in Dental System 2020
All 3Shape academy tutorials are now directly accessible from
inside Dental System.

All-in-one implant bridge workflow
A new all-in-one reduced implant bridge workflow has been
implemented to make it faster to design implant bridges and
give full flexibility.
The new workflow has all design options in one common workflow to make it convenient to use. The workflow gives full design flexibility, allowing to offset or design preps in just few clicks, combine any type of cutback option or leave a fully anatomical crown. Final crown shape can be used to create optimal anatomically correct restorations, as well as lingual bands and facial cutbacks.

Ivotion disc from Ivoclar
Ivoclar Vivadent launched the new Ivotion disc – an innovative way to fabricate a full denture in one uninterrupted milling process. Ivotion uses a unique databased 3-dimensional tooth and dental arch geometry in the disc.

Gingivator 3.0
Designing gingiva for full dentures is one of the most time
consuming steps, requiring up to 10-15 min design time.
With the new Gingivator, the design of anatomically realistic
gingivas just got faster and simpler.

Copy Denture workflow with CAM5 output
The copy denture function introduced in Dental System 19.3 allows you to make an exact copy of an existing denture.
You scan the existing denture, modify the design if needed
and either mill or print it.

Combine models with design functionality
A new step in all Model Builder workflows allows you to merge with a model or to make space in gingiva for each individual
restoration. This step enables new design and model combinations. It is now possible to merge a model with any type of indications. For example, you can combine scan and a frame layer and use it as a hand veneering guide or make a full anatomical diagnostic waxup.
